Canadian Visitor Visa Application

If you are a foreign national and you are planning a visit to Canada, the first step is to determine whether residents from your country require a visitor visa or if an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) suffices. It may be the case that you require both a visitor visa and an eTA, depending on how you are entering Canada (by plane, car, bus, train or boat). In very exceptional circumstances, citizens of some countries need a valid passport only.

If you are a foreign national who requires a Canadian visitor visa and are planning an upcoming visit, you must first make an application to a Canadian visa office in your country.

Multiple Entry or Single Entry Visa

If your visitor visa application is approved, the Canadian visa office in your country will provide you with either multiple entries or single-entry visa for your upcoming trip.
